The regular club meeting on November 21, 2018 will NOT be held at the Green Bay Botanical Garden. The new location is at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in the Great Lakes Energy Education Center.
Directions: Take Country Club Road off of West Mason (heading north). Turn right onto Student Center Blvd. Parking lot G will be immediately on your left and The Great Lakes Energy Education Center on the other side of the lot. Come through side door marked E2 and the meeting will be upstairs.
Here is a map of the NWTC Campus. On the map find the building identified as EE. That is the Great Lakes Energy Education Center.
The October 2018 regular meeting is an important one for the club. A slate of officers is presented and a vote is taken. These officers will lead and direct the activities of the club for 2019. Please show up and vote.
Instead of a monthly meeting in July the Brown County Beekeepers club is having a PICNIC!

Place : Legion park – 1212 Charles St, De Pere, WI 54115. We rented the covered area. Please note that there is some road construction, but the parking area is not impacted.

The Brown County Beekeepers club participated in the Oneida Ag Expo on June 9, 2018. The Ag Expo Featured family activities that celebrated Oneida and Wisconsin agricultural heritage and future. There were food vendors, live music, 4H Garden tours and speakers such as Kyle Turley (former NFL player).A lot of interest in beekeeping was expressed by the attendees.
Children found the demonstration hive fascinating and enjoyed locating the queen.
