BCBA 2019 Elections

On Wednesday October 17th the BCBA held elections for 2019 officers.  We are excited to announce the following:

  • BCBA President – Dave Elsen
  • BCBA Vice President – Julie Mazzoleni
  • BCBA Secretary – Julianne Sanders
  • BCBA Treasurer – Tom Cashman

We look forward to a 2019 season filled with good conversation,  great learning for both new and experienced bee keepers, support and BEE FUN !

Please be sure the thank Steve Hupfer for 3 years as president and Lynne Lindgren for being our 2018 treasurer – THANK YOU AND WELL DONE!

Aug 2018 Meeting Location Change

The August 2018 Green Bay Beekeepers Association monthly meeting will be held on its normal night and time. The meeting is the third Wednesday of the month, August 15, 2018, at 6:30 pm.

However, the location has changed from the Green Bay Botanical Garden to the Village Grill at 801 Hoffman Road, Allouez. Come early and have a meal before the meeting.

The September meeting will again be held at the Green Bay Botanical Garden.

Oneida Ag Expo

The Brown County Beekeepers club participated in the Oneida Ag Expo on June 9, 2018. The Ag Expo Featured family activities that celebrated Oneida and Wisconsin agricultural heritage and future.  There were food vendors, live music, 4H Garden tours and speakers such as Kyle Turley (former NFL player). A lot of interest in beekeeping was expressed by the attendees.
