There will be a "Meeting Before the Meeting" tonight. Club members will preform an autopsy on a hive that died out in January. This hive has not yet been opened so who knows what we'll find! This is immediately before the normal monthly club meeting and education session in the same location as the meeting. Please come and spend time with your fellow beekeepers or to meet some beekeepers.

EDUCATION TOPIC: "Winter Feeding" Ever wonder what beekeepers in Northeastern Wisconsin feed their bees in the winter to help them make it to spring? If so, this is the presentation for you as Orren Fredrick discusses how and what he feeds his bees. We expect there will be others describing their "winter programs" and a lively discussion will follow.  Had an open discussion with members and how they fed. Sometimes the bees run out of space and decide to make a new queen and to create a new colony.
